Contact less Charity Technology startup raises £1 million in crowdfunding

GoodBox, a charity organization that has pioneered Contactless Charity Technology has received crowdfunding of £1 million from multiple investors. In January 2019, the company raised £1.3 million in its Series A round of funding.

The overall money raised which includes crowdfunding and Series A amounts to £2.3 million and is backed by WorldPay and Visa executives. Since its launch, 3 years ago, GoodBox has facilitated  £2 million in donations for over 700 NGO’s

Andrew O’Brien, founded the organization with the mission to make charitable donations seamless which would help save lives all over the world.

Fintech companies would be able to use GoodBox to facilitate more donations directly which has previously relied on cash and online transfers. 

National History Museum has raised over £1 million since the use of GoodBox for its charity payments.
